It seems that the majority of the wiccan specific books are written by females and I have found many slanted to the point of feminism to exclude but the slimmest positive mention of the masculine aspect, if not at times male bashing, talking about how horrible the males made society.
This book doesn't go into masculine vs. feminine... or the history of our culture. What it does though is fill in the areas that are soo often skipped over by the other books. It has a wonderful chapter on the Gods, a good review/introduction to spellcraft, great recipes for Oils/Incenses... and most importantly a great wealth of knowledge and experience that filled a spot for me that many books seemed to never mention.
This book should be in anyones reading list, it definately does not try to engulf all of the masculine aspect of the craft, as it is written less about the strictly masculine side then just about his view that wicca is a religion and not a fad and it is for men just as much as it is for woman, but I would recommend it full heartedly to anyone male/female or other. Alexandrian Book of Shadows, by Sekhet Sophia (1990)

Founded by Alexander Sanders and his (then) wife Maxine, the Alexandrian tradition is very similar to Gardnerian. Alex Sanders claimed to have been initiated by his grandmother in 1933, and his tradition is somewhat more liberal than traditional Gardnerian Wicca. While eclectic, Alexandrian rituals are still formal and based in ceremonial magick, with highly polarized references to the sexual dichotomy of male/female. Still, the Alexandrians have relaxed some of the more stringent Gardnerian teachings, i.e., the requirement of ritual nudity being made optional under Alexandrian teachings. Alexandrian Wheel of the Year revolves around the struggles of the Oak King and Holly King, generally as depicted through ritual dramas. The purpose of the book is to present an ethnography of New Zealand feminist witches to colour one small space in the global picture of Paganism and to engage with a number of issues and debates which concern the feminist spirituality movement as a whole. I have also compared New Zealand witches with those in places where the movement is much better known, chiefly the US and UK. The first part of the book deals more with global concerns in relation to the study of witchcraft and the Goddess, while the second part is a close-up study of feminist witches and women involved in Goddess spirituality in New Zealand. Chapter five, which discusses my methodological approach as a feminist anthropologist, introduces the New Zealand ethnography.
